A familiar game. A few clever decisions.

Hold your eight for an escape, or play it early to leave somebody drawing. Watch the hand counts. Your opponents watch yours.

How do you play Crazy Eights?

Everyone gets five cards from a standard 52-card deck. Match the discard’s suit or rank, or play an eight and choose the next suit. After an eight, match the declared suit or play another eight. You may draw even if you have a playable card. Draw one at a time until you choose to play; when the stock is empty, pass only if you cannot play.

Empty your hand to win its points: every eight left with opponents is worth 50, picture cards and tens are worth 10, aces 1, and the rest their number. Full matches play to 200. If the stock is empty and everybody is blocked, the hand is a draw with no points; redeal. There are no draw-two penalties, skips or stacking rules.

What is free?

Full computer matches against 1–5 opponents and a single scored private hand are free without sign-up. All Access lets a host run private matches to 200, for $4.99/month or $29/year USD. Five guests can join without paying.

How do invitations and saved games work?

Create a room and send its invitation link. Everyone chooses a nickname and presses Ready. The host starts. Reopen the link in the same browser to recover your seat, or use the private recovery code in Room options. Rooms last two hours and hosts can extend them near expiry. Computer matches save on this device. Use your own call if you want to talk.

Can I play on a phone or with a keyboard?

Yes. Tap a card and then Play. When you choose an eight, choose its suit before playing. The stock is a large tap target. Keyboard players can use Tab, arrow keys between cards, Enter to select and D to draw when it is their turn.
