Four seats. A proper card game.

Play a complete free match to 500 with three computer players. Milo is your partner. Or bring three friends: one private hand is free, and the host’s All Access opens full matches.

How do you play Spades?

Each player gets 13 cards. Partners sit opposite. Bid how many tricks you expect to take, then follow the suit led if possible. Highest spade wins; otherwise highest card in the led suit. Aces are high. Spades cannot lead until broken, unless you have only spades.

Your team earns 10 points per trick bid when it meets the combined bid, or loses that amount if it misses. Extra tricks earn a point and a bag; 10 bags costs 100 points. Nil earns 100 for no tricks or loses 100 if you take any. Nil tricks count as bags, not toward your partner’s contract.

First to 500 wins; a team at −200 loses. Ties continue for another hand. Standard 52-card deck, no jokers, no blind nil. Our table checks legal moves and explains the score after each hand.

Can I play Spades on a phone?

Yes. Tap a card, then Play; no dragging required. Cards wrap into readable rows. Keyboard players can Tab through controls, use arrows between cards and Enter to select. Your own hand is the only hidden hand sent to your browser in private rooms.

How do invitations and reconnecting work?

Create a room, copy its link and send it to your friends. Everyone chooses a nickname and presses Ready; the host starts. Use your own voice call if you want to chat. Reopen the invitation in the same browser to recover your seat, or save your private recovery code in Room options. Rooms last two hours; hosts can extend in the last 30 minutes. No public matchmaking or guest accounts.

What is free, and what does All Access add?

Computer matches and a one-hand private game are free, without sign-up. A host with All Access can run private matches to 500 and rematches with the same group. $4.99/month or $29/year USD; three guests join without paying. Local computer matches save on this device.
