Easy to begin. Plenty to read.
Watch what your opponents pass on. Save a number that keeps your options open. Decide when to let go of a heavy double.
How do you play Dominoes online?
Match a tile to either open end of the chain. Tap a tile, then choose an end. The first empty rack wins the round and scores the pips left with everyone else. Your screen highlights legal tiles and keeps score.
We use a double-six set of 28 tiles: seven tiles per player with two players, five each with three or four. The highest dealt double opens the first round; if nobody has a double, the highest pip tile opens. Later rounds let the previous winner lead any tile. Doubles do not create branches.
What is the difference between Draw and Block?
In Draw, when no tile fits, draw one at a time until you can play or the boneyard is empty. You cannot draw instead of a legal play. In Block, unused tiles stay out of play; pass if nothing fits. Both styles use the same matching rules and score automatically. These are individual games, without teams or All Fives scoring.
What happens when nobody can play?
When everyone passes in a row, count the pips left in each hand. The player with the unique lowest total wins the sum of everyone else’s pips minus their own. A tie for lowest scores zero. Full matches continue to 100 points, with everybody confirming the next round. Domino rules vary by household; these rules stay visible at the table.
What is free, and what does All Access add?
Complete single rounds of Draw or Block are free, against computer opponents or in a private room, as often as you like. All Access adds matches to 100 with cumulative scores and round-by-round history, solo or with friends. It costs $4.99/month or $29/year USD. In private rooms only the host needs access; the other players join free.
How do I invite friends or recover my seat?
Create a room, copy the invitation link and send it to your people. Everyone joins with a nickname and presses Ready. The host starts. Use your usual call to chat. Reopen the invitation in the same browser to recover your seat, or use your private recovery code in Room options. Rooms last two hours and hosts can extend near expiry.
Can I play on a phone or with a keyboard?
Yes. Large tiles and two clear end choices work by touch, with no precision dragging. Tab into your rack, use arrow keys to move between tiles and Enter to select. L and R play at the left or right end; D draws when allowed. Sound is optional. A flat table works if your device cannot run 3D. Computer games save on this device.
