The family table quiz

A general family quiz for when you want one shared screen. Choose a short round or settle in; an adult can read for little teammates.

Get settled

Before dinner, share the invitation and let everyone choose a nickname. Use Harvest Table if your group likes a little competition.

Play together

After dinner, play the four-round match. There is no automatic countdown. Finish the current round before a longer kitchen break; rooms expire after two hours.

Make a night of it

For dessert, try the harvest drawing deck with three to eight players, or the free shared-screen family quiz. Rotate who reads for children.

Before everyone arrives.

Does this work for Canadian Thanksgiving?

Yes. The harvest deck is about food, leaves and silly drawings, without US history questions. In 2026, Canadian Thanksgiving is October 12 and US Thanksgiving is November 26. For a group that does not celebrate Thanksgiving, call it a harvest game night.

2026 dates: Canada Revenue Agency and US Office of Personnel Management.

What is free, and what does All Access add?

The solo bidding game is completely free. The multiplayer bidding match includes four complete rounds and scores. Drawing telephone includes a three-turn taster. All Access adds nine-round bidding matches, 6–8-turn drawing chains and the rest of the included collection for $4.99/month or $29/year (USD). Only the host pays; guests join free. See what membership includes.

Can we use phones? Do we need to share a screen?

For the bidding and drawing rooms, each player opens the invitation on their own phone, tablet or computer. Tap controls or use a keyboard. Use a separate voice call if apart. Do not share a private bid or drawing screen. The family quiz is different: a host shares one screen and the group gives answers.

What happens if someone disconnects?

Open the invitation in the same browser to recover a saved seat, or use your private recovery code. If necessary, ask the host to approve a move to another device. In Gather & Grab, the host can pass for a missing player after a minute. Rooms expire after two hours.
