Put the questions on one big screen, split the table into teams, read each question aloud and reveal the answer together. A round of ten takes about 10 to 15 minutes, so it fits neatly between the main course and the pie.

The same questions suit very different tables.
Pass a tablet round between courses and play on one screen. Read the questions out for younger players, and let whoever answers read the fact. For no-screen games between courses, see Thanksgiving table games.
TV mode, two or three teams and a printed sheet each. One round while the food finishes, two with dessert. For a game on everyone’s phone, try the Thanksgiving game show.
Share your screen on the video call in TV mode. Everyone answers aloud, and the host reveals the answers. More games for a call are on the Thanksgiving games page.
Estimates for TV mode, including reading, thinking time and the reveal. Playing alone is quicker.
| Time you have | Rounds and questions | How to pace it |

Yes. Every question has four answers to choose from, and most suit confident readers of about 8 and up, especially on a team with a grown-up. Let the youngest player read the “Did you know?” after each answer. For a quieter game, try the Thanksgiving word search.
Put the questions on one screen, split the table into teams of two to six, and read each question aloud. Give teams about a minute to agree, then reveal the answer and its fact together. One round of ten fits between dinner and pie, in about 10 to 15 minutes.
We kept to documented facts: presidential proclamations, the dates in the calendar, and what a colonist’s 1621 letter actually records. We left out popular stories about the holiday that historians dispute. If you think we’ve got something wrong, email hello@playatyours.com and we’ll look again.
Yes. Choose “Host on a TV”, share your screen on the call, and read the questions aloud. Everyone answers aloud or on paper, and you reveal the answers together.
