In Top Answers, your group answers a quick private survey, then two teams race to find the top answers on a big flip board. Buzz in, dodge three strikes and steal the bank.

In short: Top Answers is a free survey game show you play in the browser. Everyone answers a few prompts privately on their phone, the room counts the answers into boards, and two teams take turns guessing what the group said most. Find answers to bank points, avoid three strikes, then win the fast round.
Rooms, phones and privacy
Your answers stay private
Survey answers are anonymous: the board shows counts, never names, and individual answers are discarded once the boards are built. A few words that never belong on a shared board are left off automatically, and the host can remove others before play.
Fair buzzers
Buzzes travel straight to the room, which orders them by the moment it receives them. The room checks every answer; the host can accept or reject a ruling.
Rooms
Rooms last two hours, and the host can add time in the final 30 minutes. Reopen the invitation in the same browser to get your seat back. Room data, including your own boards, is removed when the room closes or expires.

How do you play a survey game show?
Two teams guess the most common answers to a survey question; each answer found scores the share of people who gave it. Here’s a full game of Top Answers:
Open the boardThe host creates a room on a laptop or TV. That screen is the board everyone watches; share it on your call if you’re apart.
Join on phonesPlayers open the link, enter the code and pick one of two teams. Late arrivals can join a team mid-game.
Answer the surveyEveryone answers six quick prompts privately, about 20 seconds each. Their answers, counted and merged, become the boards. Or skip it and play house boards.
Face offOne player from each team gets a buzzer. The first buzz answers; the top answer wins control, or the higher-ranked answer of the two.
Clear the boardThe controlling team takes turns to answer, one speaker at a time, while teammates send ideas to the speaker’s phone. Each answer found adds its points to the bank.
Three strikes, then stealThree wrong answers and the other team gets one answer to steal the whole bank. The last main round is worth double.
Fast roundBoth teams answer three quick prompts at once in 60 seconds, for double points. The host reveals the answers one by one, and the higher total wins.
How to host a game show for a team or party
Put the board where everyone can see it, give every player their own phone, and let the room keep score. Pick the setup that matches your group:
In person
Open the host screen on a TV or laptop facing the room. Guests install nothing: they type the short link and the room code. Seat the two teams on opposite sides so the face-off feels like one.
Hybrid
Put the board on the meeting-room screen and share the same tab on your call. People in the room and at home join the same two teams on their phones, so remote players buzz and answer on equal terms.
On a video call
Share the board tab with sound. Players keep the call open and use their phone as the buzzer and answer pad. Team ideas arrive silently on the speaker’s phone, so nobody talks over each other.

Times are estimates for a three-board game with a fast round; five or seven boards add about 5 minutes each.
Where do the answers come from?
Room survey: before the show, every player answers six prompts privately with a short timer. The room tidies spelling, plurals and simple synonyms, groups matching answers and counts them, and the host can merge near-duplicates in a quick review. Points are the share of your room that gave each answer, so the board really is your own group.
House boards: answer lists written by At Yours editors, with points set by those editors and labelled “House board” on the screen. They suit small groups and quick starts: the free Everyday set has 26 boards, and At Yours Plus adds six occasion packs with more than 75 further boards.
Survey game show questions
How many people can play?
Two to 24 players on their own phones, split into two teams, plus one host screen that shows the board. A free room holds up to 8 players; the host’s At Yours Plus raises it to 24. We tested full 24-player games on our own servers before offering that size. For more than 24, run two rooms.
Do guests need an account or an app?
No. Guests open the invitation link in their phone’s browser, type a nickname and pick a team. There is nothing to download and no guest account or payment. Only the host needs At Yours Plus, and only for the larger room, longer games and extra packs.
Can we write our own questions?
Yes, with the host’s At Yours Plus. Write up to 12 boards with your own question and 3 to 8 answers each, with points or ranked by order. They stay private to your room and are deleted when it closes. Everyone can also play a room survey for free, where your group’s own answers become the boards.
How long does it take?
About 20 minutes for the free game: a two-minute room survey, three boards and a fast round. With At Yours Plus, five boards take about 30 minutes and seven about 40. These are estimates; your group’s pace and the host decide.
Where do the answers come from?
From one of two honest sources. A room survey asks everyone a few prompts privately at the start and builds each board from your room’s real counts, so “7 of 12” means seven of you said it. House boards are answer lists written and scored by At Yours editors and are labelled as house boards. We never claim to have surveyed the public.
Does it work on a video call?
Yes. The host shares the board tab on any video call, and everyone plays on their phone. Buzzers, answers and team ideas go through the room, so nobody needs to unmute to play, though shouting at the screen is encouraged.
What if a guess is spelled differently?
The room ignores capitals, punctuation, articles and plurals, knows some everyday synonyms and forgives small typos. If it still gets one wrong, the host can accept or reject the answer from the board.
