How do you make bingo cards?

Choose what goes on the cards, pick a grid, set how many you need and print. The maker shuffles every card for you and keeps each one different.

  1. Choose what goes on the cards. Classic numbers 1–75, blank cards to fill in by hand, a picture theme, an office or sight-word list, or your own words.
  2. Pick the layout. 5×5 is classic bingo; 4×4 and 3×3 are quicker and easier for young children. Keep the free space for faster games.
  3. Set the number of cards. One per player plus a few spares. Every card in the set is different.
  4. Add a title and choose your paper. A4 or US Letter, one or two cards per page, and the ink saver if you need it.
  5. Print or save as a PDF. Add the caller’s checklist, then call the game on paper or with the free on-screen caller.

How many bingo cards do I need?

One card per player, plus a few spares for late arrivals and anyone who wants two. More cards in play means someone wins sooner, so a big group finishes a line game quickly.

How do you play bingo with words instead of numbers?

Give each player a card of words and call words from the same list instead of numbers. Players cover a word when it is called, and the first to complete a line shouts Bingo. Use the caller’s checklist, cut-up slips of paper or the on-screen caller to call the words in a random order.

Word bingo works for showers, office parties and classrooms: baby names and nursery items, wedding words, team in-jokes, or sight words and spelling lists. For a 5×5 card with a free space, the list needs at least 24 entries; 30 to 60 gives more varied cards. Picture themes let children play before they can read.

What are the B-I-N-G-O number ranges?

In 75-ball bingo, each column has its own 15 numbers. The N column has four numbers and the free space.

I16–305 numbers
N31–454 numbers and the free space

The maker’s 4×4 and 3×3 number cards use the first four or three columns (1–60 or 1–45), without letters.

Printable bingo card questions

Are these bingo cards really free?

Yes. Every theme, grid size and paper option is free, with up to 30 different cards per print, the caller’s checklist and the on-screen caller. There is no account and no watermark beyond a small At Yours line at the foot of each card.

How do I make sure every card is different?

Each set is made from one set code, and the maker never repeats a card within a set. When your list is long enough, it also keeps any two cards from sharing a winning line, so a claim is easy to check. Print the whole set at once, or reuse the set code to print the same cards again.

Can I make bingo cards with my own words?

Yes. Choose “Your own list” and type or paste 24–75 words or short phrases, one per line, up to 30 characters each. A 5×5 card with a free space needs at least 24; 4×4 cards need 16 and 3×3 cards need 8. More words make the cards more varied.

Can I save the cards as a PDF?

Yes. Press Print cards and choose “Save as PDF” (or “PDF”) as the printer in your browser’s print window. The pages are already sized for A4 or US Letter, with page breaks between cards.

How big are the printed cards?

One card per page is about 17–18 cm (6.6–7 in) across. Two cards per page are about 8.5–9 cm (3.3–3.5 in) across, with a dashed line to cut along.

Can I call the game on a TV?

Yes, free. “Call it on screen” opens a big-screen caller with your list: it draws each number, word or picture at random, shows everything called so far, and checks any card number from your set when someone shouts Bingo.

What does At Yours Plus add?

Up to 200 different cards per print, saved lists on this device, and hosting your own list in a private online room where 2–24 players join free on their phones and every Bingo is checked. At Yours Plus costs $4.99/month or $29/year (USD) and covers the host; guests never pay to join.

Does the card maker work on a phone?

Yes. The maker works at any screen size. Print from your phone with your usual print option (AirPrint or your Android printer app), or save the cards as a PDF and print them later.
