Before you play.
How do you play Who Said That?
Each player writes a short answer to the same prompt, without their name. The room shuffles those answers. Match every card that is not yours to its author, then reveal together. Each correct match earns 1 point, or 2 in the final round. Highest total wins; ties share the win.
What happens if two people write the same answer?
Matching answers share one card. Either author is a correct guess. If that shared card includes your own answer, you sit out guessing that card. There is no reward for making an answer revealing or personal.
Does it work for remote teams?
Yes: 3–8 people, one phone or computer each and your normal call. The host sends a private invitation; guests enter a nickname without an account. Everyone answers at the same time. For bigger teams, use separate rooms within the eight-person limit.
How much content is there?
The workplace deck has 60 prompts about everyday preferences and imaginary ideas. The friends-and-family deck has 30 lighter prompts for ages 8+ with a reader. Free sessions have three complete rounds. All Access hosts can choose 3, 6 or 9 rounds and a private game-night series.
How do passing and moderation work?
Skip writing and still join the guessing. You can also pass your guesses. Hosts can hide a card, pass a whole round or skip unfinished turns after one minute. Hiding a card restarts guessing with the remaining cards. Removing a player discards the match and returns everyone else to the lobby.
Do guests pay, and are answers public?
Guests never pay. One host needs All Access for longer sessions: $4.99/month or $29/year USD. Answers and nicknames are visible only within the private room and deleted when it closes or expires. The share result link does not include those answers. Rooms start with up to two hours, with an extension option near expiry.
