Choose your first little mystery

Start with the kind of thinking you enjoy, then check the practical details.

Try a complete small case

The Switched Lunch is free and contains four observations. Read them, make a theory and check it. It is one of the five cases in Five Small Mysteries.

Choose evidence or linked puzzles

An evidence mystery asks which account fits the records. A linked adventure asks you to use one answer to unlock the next stage. Neither needs you to search the internet for missing facts.

Decide how you want to share

Use one screen for a cooperative case, print the evidence to spread it across the table, or choose Across the Line when you want different information on each device.

Use hints as a conversation

Before opening a hint, say what you know and what you are assuming. The first nudge can help you revisit an observation; the full solution is available when you want to understand the chain.
