Two words, one set of guesses
Guess two different five-letter English words in nine shared attempts. Every accepted guess is checked against both answers. A filled green tile with a dot means the correct letter in the correct place; an amber tile with a corner mark means the letter belongs elsewhere. Gray means there are no remaining copies of that letter in the answer.
Repeated letters and solved boards
An exact match uses that copy of a letter first. Extra copies are marked absent unless the answer contains them too. Once a word is solved, its board stays complete and you use the remaining guesses on the other. Duplicate guesses and words outside the dictionary do not spend an attempt.
Daily play and practice
The daily pair changes at midnight UTC and is shared worldwide. Your in-progress daily puzzle saves in this browser. Practice offers new pairs whenever you want and keeps the daily puzzle separate. Share results as a spoiler-free tile grid; the answers are not included. Local daily statistics count each completed date once.
A complete free word game
Twinwords has its own curated answer pool and uses an 8,636-word five-letter subset of the public-domain ENABLE dictionary for guesses. Some regional forms or new words may be missing. It is an independent At Yours game, not Wordle or an official New York Times game. There is no account gate, timer or purchase requirement.
