Choose the quiz that fits tonight
The quick game has 12 questions, with two from each theme. The middle game has 36, with six from each theme. The full game uses all 60. Every length moves through the same six rounds, giving you a mix of picture clues, wordplay and small puzzles.
Choose your length on the opening screen. Start with 12 when people are arriving at different times or younger players want a clear finish. Question count is a better planning guide than a promised duration: discussing every answer takes longer than playing alone.
How to play on one screen
- Open the quiz on a phone, tablet or computer. Choose the length and number of teams.
- Read the question together. Tap an answer, or arrange the choices when asked for an order.
- Press Lock in answer. The game checks your choice and explains the answer.
- Move to the next question. Scores update automatically, and each round shows your progress.
- Use Pass this question when you prefer to reveal the answer and move on.
For a cooperative family game, use one team and discuss each answer. For a contest, let teams take their allocated turns. Put a reader beside a younger player so spotting a picture or suggesting an idea can be their contribution.
Around a table or over a call
The quiz uses a shared screen rather than connected individual devices. In the same room, place a tablet where everyone can see it or read aloud. Over a call, one person can share their screen and enter the group’s answers. The game does not provide voice or video calling.
For private answers on separate phones, try our multiplayer tasters. The quiz itself does not use a room code.
What is included free?
All 60 browser questions are free. The printable quiz sampler has six questions, with separate player sheets and answers in A4 and US Letter. It is not a printed copy of the full browser bank.
Progress saves in the same browser when local storage is available. Keep that browser and device to continue later. Replaying draws from a finite bank, so questions eventually repeat.
Combine the quiz with our mixed-age game-night plan, or explore family games for another format.
